OPEN DAY - a chance to try Polo

Sunday 18th May is the day to try out polo at the West Somerset Polo Club.

No matter what your age and equestrian skill level  (including none at all),
experienced players and ponies will be on hand to steer you through the basics of the sport - and get you started!

Starting at 11am at the Clubhouse, groups will be taken through the rules of the game, given a chance to practice with a stick and ball - and then mounted on real pony ponies to test their skills.

It's all very informal and fun, designed for all members of the family - including the dog.

And when you've worn out the pony, there'll be food and drink to put all the weight back on.  Lunch will be available at a cost of £6 per head, followed by a high-speed game involving club members.

Call James and Georgie Norman on 01884 820432 to book your place. And listen in to Jeremy Toye's BBC Somerset radio interview here.
